DESCRIPTION:For some, gambling might no longer feel like a game or be a way to have fun. Fortunately, Massachusetts provides a Voluntary Self-Exclusion (VSE) program that offers one way for anyone struggling with casino gambling to set limits and take control. By enrolling in VSE, participants voluntarily exclude themselves from the gaming floors of all Massachusetts casinos. A participant can choose how long they want to self-exclude. This one-hour training will educate you about how self-exclusion can support clients as a harm reduction or recovery strategy. Human service providers and clinicians can become designated agents of self-exclusion and offer this service to clients in their workplace. Join this free online training to learn more about this robust recovery support and to become a certified agent of self-exclusion.
