Enhancing Cultural Competence when Working with Transgender and Gender Non-Binary Individuals Struggling with Disordered Gambling

How can clinicians who treat problem gambling disorder better reach and serve transgender and gender non-binary clients? Through this interactive training, attendees will have the opportunity to review new research, identify their role in the delivery of culturally competent health care services and learn tools to deliver effective problem gambling treatment to this population. We will also discuss risk factors for the development of gambling disorder among transgender and gender non-binary clients.
