Are you interested in learning more about problem gambling? Gambling has expanded throughout Massachusetts in recent years and it is more important than ever for clinicians to integrate evidence-based assessment, diagnosis and treatment of disordered gambling into their practice. This training is designed to increase providers’ skill in identifying and treating problematic gambling behavior. It will focus on the assessment and diagnosis of gambling disorder as a behavioral addiction and there will be practice in developing a treatment plan. This training will also explore the similarities and differences of gambling disorder with substance abuse and mental health disorders and discuss the various challenges in identifying disordered gambling.
