With over 10 years of experience working in sportsbooks and iGaming, Dan brings a commitment to cutting-edge innovation – and a versatile skill set – to GameSense.
Before his GameSense days, Dan managed product development and marketing strategy for the Commonwealth of Independent States’ premier sportsbook. His work, which spanned nine countries, built his reputation as a professional well-versed in data analytics, operations management, and digital strategy. He understands the evolving gambling landscape and the importance of player education to adapt. Today, he appreciates the opportunity to share his wealth of knowledge through GameSense’s responsible gambling initiatives and outreach.
Dan holds an MBA in finance from Kazakhstan’s KIMEP University and multiple project management certificates from Google. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and is a member of the Encore Boston Harbor team.
His job in his words:
“We are here to help all stakeholders of the process. Gambling is only entertainment for fun, there is no guarantee for winning. Knowledge of all aspects of gambling activities helps patrons keep their play safe. To achieve this, GameSense helps patrons understand gambling works, how odds and probabilities are calculated, how to control and limit their time and budget, and how to support patrons who need to stop through Voluntary Self-Exclusion and recovery recommendations.”
