Voluntary Self-Exclusion as a Harm Reduction Strategy for Problematic Gambling

The evidence-based Voluntary Self-Exclusion program is a recovery pathway that allows people experiencing problematic casino gambling or sports betting take an immediate step toward recovery. Voluntary Self-Exclusion programs allow people to exclude themselves from casinos or sports betting as a way of dealing with their problematic gambling behavior. This one-hour training will explain the benefits and limitations of self-exclusion as a tool for both harm reduction and recovery and help participants understand how to access this free resource but remotely and in person. This event is open to all members of the public.
