Experts remind locals to bet wisely as NFL season kicks off

As the NFL season kicks off, the Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health (MACGH) joined Western Mass News at MGM Springfield to spotlight Responsible Gaming Education Month (RGEM). Amy Gabrila, Director of Player Health, emphasized the importance of informed play: “It’s meant to bring awareness to player health, how gambling works, and gambling literacy.” The visit highlighted MACGH’s commitment to meeting players where they are—offering tools, support, and education to help reduce gambling-related harm.
