WCVB: ‘Doing real harm’: Survey looks at impact of sports betting

Chief Communications Officer Phil Sherwood spoke to WCVB’s Angel Salcedo about how the accessibility of sports betting apps is driving dangerous trends found in a recent Men’s Health survey.

Out of 3,800 men surveyed, 61 percent bet on sports either daily or weekly Of the men surveyed who place sports bets, 34 percent say it affects their relationships, 51 percent say sports gambling affects their mood, and 18 percent say it’s destroying their lives.
